African Community & Housing Development

We are looking for reliable volunteers to help with set up and break down of our two weekly farmers markets that run from May through October. We need volunteers for the following times:

  • Delridge Farmers Market (Saturday mornings and afternoons)

  • SeaTac Farmers Market (Wednesday afternoons and evenings)

Volunteers can expect to:

Make new friends, learn all the inner workings of a community-oriented farmers market, and get exercise in while setting up tents, booths, and giving away free produce to community members for our food access programs.

About our markets:

We are one of the only BIPOC-priority markets in town, focused on providing unique foods from across the globe to diverse communities across King County. Our markets center culture and cultivate community, working to build food security in historic food desert zones along with access to holistic health and wellness programming, while eliminating barriers to market access for farmers, chefs, and artisans of color.
