AUGUST
We took a drive down to Auburn to visit Angel’s operation, Feeding Feasible Feasts. We saw their food distribution warehouse, as well as delivery trucks and walk-in coolers. We even got filled up on some delicious Mexican food for lunch.
SEPTEMBER
On Sept. 15th, we visited Unkitawa’s headquarters in Kent and learned about their First Foods initiative. Misty Smiley and Chloe Schierbeck led us in an informative tour about their pantry items and wellness program.
OCTOBER
We had some fun at the Sounders Game vs. Kansas City on Oct 1st for a fall social outing! And on October 17th, we stopped by ACHD’s Delridge Farmers’ Market to visit Christopher and the ACHD team + support their BIPOC vendors.
